Description: The IVIG group members have formulated definition of information literacy and standards of an information literate university student as the base for the pilot survey of student's information literacy level at several universities/faculties in the Czech Republic in 2004-2005. Survey on information education Seminar IVIG has been organized annually from 2003 to promote IL initiatives and best practices, to discuss problems and to share experiences. The Information Education Strategy at Universities in the Czech Republic was issued in 2008 as a recommendation of Association of Libraries of Czech Universities.
