Description: Project benefits: The Library would have a demonstrably coherent approach to the delivery of information literacy across the curriculum and to all levels of undergraduate and postgraduate student, providing a more efficient way of developing information literacy. The project would create a learning environment in which students will develop life-long and transferable information literacy skills. Academic staff will have available a mechanism by which they can integrate IL skills into their teaching. Project Deliverables A toolkit of learning activities both within Blackboard and through other means that address the information literacy needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Guidelines for individual Schools as to the most effective way of utilizing the toolkit. Guidelines for Library staff to allow them to support both students and staff in the use of the toolkit.

Objective: To provide Schools throughout the University with a suite (toolkit) of interactive learning activities relating to information literacy that can be integrated seamlessly with their curricular provision.
