The European network on Information Literacy (EnIL) is a network of researchers actively involved in Information Literacy, drawn from most of the EU25 countries. The network has been initiated and co-ordinated by Carla Basili in 2001, as research project within the Italian National Research Council and its aims include: +the definition of a common research agenda; +the production of collaborative studies and the collection of comparable data (see EDInfo and EgIL projects); +the promotion of information literacy in the European Union; +the advancement of European co-operation in this field; +the exchange of experiences and the discussion of best-practice examples.

Blended learning material used during class-experiences in information literacy at Cattaneo University LIUC. It focus on information in the specific Business and Economics area. It describes the type and format (news, financial report and data, macro and micro economics analysis...) of the economic publications. It also presents the most important official publications in the field, the main literature resources and statistical databases.

The Information literacy tutorial includes 5 didactics units:1)defining & formulating your research project 2)Identyifing what resources to use 3)Research strategies 4)Assessing the resources 5) Using your research results. Each Units has a set of evaluation tests. We allow the students to use the web version of the tutorial, but we also use the tutorial through one e-learning platform (ATutor)
